Mortar and concrete residues that occur during construction, renovation and tile applications cause major problems, especially when they escape into drains. PlusProline Mortar & Concrete Dissolver is a highly effective cleaning product developed to dissolve these residues and free the drain line. Not only mortar and concrete; it also shows high performance on stubborn stains, rust and lime formations on toilets, sinks, faucet edges, joint gaps and metal surfaces. Thanks to its fast-acting powerful formula, it provides effortless cleaning and hygienic results.
A mortar and concrete dissolver is an acid-based industrial cleaning product engineered to remove hardened cement, mortar, concrete residue, limescale, and rust from surfaces and drainage systems. PlusProline Mortar Dissolver uses a specialized formula that breaks the calcium bonds in cured cement and mortar, turning solid deposits into a dissolvable slurry. It is highly effective on construction debris that enters drains during renovation, tiling, and building work. Beyond drain cleaning, it removes yellowed stains from toilet bowls and sinks, dissolves limescale around faucets and tile joints, and cleans rust from metal surfaces. Packaged in a 1000g HDPE bottle with a child-safe cap.
For drain cleaning: pour a sufficient amount directly into the affected drain and allow 20-30 minutes for the formula to dissolve the mortar or concrete residue. Flush with plenty of water afterward. For surface cleaning: apply a small amount directly onto the stained area using protective gloves. Allow 5-10 minutes of contact time, then scrub with a non-metallic brush and rinse thoroughly. For limescale on faucets, apply with a cloth, leave for 5 minutes, and wipe clean. For toilet bowl stains, pour an appropriate amount around the rim, wait 15 minutes, brush, and flush. Always work in a well-ventilated area.
Do not use on marble, natural stone, polished granite, or acid-sensitive surfaces - the acid formula will etch and permanently damage these materials. Never use on painted surfaces, anodized aluminum, or chrome-plated fixtures without testing on a small hidden area first. Do not mix with alkaline products (like drain cleaners or bleach) as this causes a violent chemical reaction. Avoid prolonged contact with grout lines on decorative tile - while short contact cleans, extended exposure can dissolve the grout itself. Always wear rubber gloves and eye protection. Use only in well-ventilated spaces.
When cleaning construction debris from drains, apply in multiple smaller doses rather than one large dose for better penetration. For old, stubborn limescale deposits, apply the product, cover with plastic wrap to prevent evaporation, and leave for 20 minutes - this keeps the acid in contact longer. After renovation work, treat drains promptly before mortar fully cures (within 48 hours) for easiest removal. On toilet bowls, a monthly treatment prevents the buildup of mineral deposits and keeps porcelain white. For exterior concrete splatter on tiles, pre-wet the area with water before application to protect the tile glaze.
